Hollywood Politics

I spoke to my film friend today and his producer informed him that apparently were gonna need permits to film on Sunset in the Hollywood area. Yet another barricade in my way of getting this night and day footage. Apologies to the group, I'm in the process of attaining a permit on Monday, if not my thoughts on this portion maybe soon be deceased given our time constraints. I'll keep everyone posted

The Weather

Is lame, and because the weather is lame. This is delaying my night and day filming. So in the event that the weather is still LAME, I will have to postpone this chapter and do more on foot. I looked at the forecast and may see some promise on Sunday, time will tell and you will know it cause I will post again by then. yeeyee.

Porcelain Portraits I

So yesterday I went west on a fantastic voyage of Sunset from downtown heading west and I shot some toilets and a hotel / motel sign or two for fun. What I've included in the album are just a few pics, theres about 74. And I plan on shooting more. I'm slowly developing my thesis seeing this as, what is developing into a documentation of some of Sunset's more or less frequented restrooms. With this said, Porcelain Potraits , is a collection of photos that dramatically personify the attributes (porcelain) that make the use of the "john(s)" on Sunset a truly overlooked experience. The Good The Bad and The Plan B.

So the good news is the bad news isn't that bad cause the good news has good news in it there for making the bad news good news. Anyway, bad news is my film dude ran into some mishaps, and I won't be able to shoot footage of the drive for day and night this weekend. I want to be able to capture the drive on a busy morning and a busy night, so its the day for this shoot has been postponed to a week from today. Alternatively I do have a plan B, which is a field trip tomorrow. I need to find some toilets to shoot and some shitty ads and flyers to pick up, kill two birds with one stone. WHO'S DOWN? I'm thinking early morning, make a day out of it. >Shoot till the cards full!!!
